We do not fear electronic invoicing.

We have done it for decades.

In Denmark (where I live) it became mandatory to use a xml (OIOXML) 
based invoicing for all invoices to the public authorities.
This happened in 2005.
Today close to zero analog invoices exist, possible because it has 
become mandatory by law to store every invoice digitally, and link it to 
the corresponding post in your accounting software.

As @Aban mentioned, some companies may have to adjust something

But it works.
That said, I will find one of my own mails and (hopefully) confirm that 
my pdf/email invoices are marked correctly.
