ok, i am now ten days into using

    rspamc -i 192.168.0.1 -P ioc8ieMa5eec learn_spam newspam/$i

resulting in

    Results for file: newspam/98 (0.008 seconds)
    success = true;
    filename = "newspam/98";
    scan_time = 0.008000;

    Results for file: newspam/99 (0 seconds)
    success = true;
    filename = "newspam/99";
    scan_time = 0.0;

and the amount of spam getting through remains the same, or maybe a bit
higher.  and, specifically, spam i know has been procesed as above comes
through.  e.g.
