I use rspamd 3.9.1 on FreeBSD 14.1-p3 with no issues. I run it on a VPS.
I installed it using 'pkg'.

I'm curious as to what this 'dilemma' is... I mix packages and ports
without any problems (although I try to keep this to a minimum). For
example, my rspamd installation is done using pkg. This installs the port
built with "most-often used" options. My postfix/dovecot installations are
done using ports -- because I want to use SQLite instead of MySQL (which
would be overkill for me).

I mitigate pkg's desire to update my port-installed postfix/dovecot using
pkg-lock(8).
